Sodium chlorate

Sodium chlorate can be used as an oxidizer, but is usually used as raw material of chlorine dioxide. As an alternative to chlorine, the demand for chlorine dioxide is ever rising, due to its smaller amount of by-production of carcinogenic organic chloride compounds. Special facilities are required to generate chlorine dioxide from sodium chlorate. Sodium chlorate-based herbicide is eco-friendly and suitable for preventing soil fluxion from river banks.
